Once upon a time in a distant forest lived a cocky rabbit, who was always showing off to the other animals with his high speed and high jump.
One day, while the hare was wandering in the woods, he came across a tortoise walking very slowly.
He mocked her, laughing, saying: So quickly, you will reach your destination at dawn tomorrow... Ha-ha-ha.
And the turtle answered him calmly: in slowness, safety, and in haste, regret.
So the rabbit became angry at the turtle's answer and challenged it, saying: I dare you to race to the big tree in the middle of the forest.
At the starting signal, the hare ran like an arrow until he became invisible, while the tortoise advanced with slow steps.
In the middle of the road, the rabbit noticed that the turtle was very far away, so he decided to rest in the shade of a tree until it catches up with him, so he goes back to the race again.
But he fell into a deep sleep and the tortoise beat him to the finish line, and she won the race thanks to her perseverance and not giving up.
And the rabbit failed because of his arrogance and his superiority over the rest of the animals.
Story ended
